Wall planks are fitted
quite randomly but there are a few rules of thumb that you may find
useful:
Frame smaller planks with larger planks.
The most commonly
used sizes are 3”, 4” and 5” and these would usually
break down into 1/2 at 5” with a 1/4 each of 4” and 3”.
A larger plank is sometimes also used as a central piece.
Planks can also
be used as skirting as part of the overall effect.
Planks can run
to full wall height, or up to a plate rail, or up to a dado rail type
height.
