We strongly recommend that you use our adhesive and
filler products when you install. They have been developed
for use specifically with the product range. Other
adhesives may not bond the product well to ceiling
and floor and may not sufficiently bond joints.

Below we show each installation option and explain
the adhesives you will need. If you need any further

Tuscan, Scamozzi and Ionic Range 2:
These 3 ranges require only one adhesive that is suitable for internal and external use. This is called Adefix Plus. It is supplied in a 290ml tube. For full columns you will require 1 tube per column. When joining 2 half columns together you will require 3 tubes to every 4 half columns.
Doric, Corinthian, Ionic, Roman & Segmented Columns and Pilasters:
These ranges use a combination of 2 or 3 adhesives as follows:
Full Columns (dry, interior installations):
Use Fix Extra to join capital to shaft and shaft to
plinth. Then use Fix Pro to join the top of the capital
to the ceiling and the bottom of the plinth to the
floor. Also use Fix Pro as a filler as required.
As a rule of thumb coverages are as follows:
Fix Pro 310ml enough for 1.5 columns and Fix Extra
80ml enough for 4 columns.
Full Columns (humid or wet installations eg swimming
pool areas, exterior etc):
Use Fix Extra to join capital to shaft and shaft
to plinth. Then use Fix Hydro to join the top of the
capital to the ceiling and the bottom of the plinth
to the floor. Also use Fix Hydro as a filler as required.
As a rule of thumb coverages are as follows:
Fix Hydro 290ml enough for 1.5 columns and Fix Extra
80ml enough for 4 columns.
Joining two Half Columns to install as a Full
Column (dry, interior installations): Use Fix
Extra to join capital to shaft, shaft to plinth and
one half to another. Then use Fix Pro to join the
top of the capital to the ceiling and the bottom of
the plinth to the floor. Also use Fix Pro as a filler
as required.
As a rule of thumb coverages are as follows:
Fix Pro 310ml enough for 1.5 columns and Fix Extra
80ml enough for 1 column.
Joining two Half Columns to install as a Full
Column (humid or wet installations eg swimming pool
