You can combine cornice and railing to create even more impact.
Railing can be used part way down the wall. When cornice, railing
and the wall between are painted the same colour the result can
be truly stunning. This can also be useful to visually reduce
the height of tall rooms.
Mounting railing offset across the ceiling can also create a beautiful
feature.This can also cost effectively replicate the effect of
some Victorian cornices that extend a significant distance
across the ceiling.
