We strongly recommend that you use our adhesive and filler
products when you install. They have been developed for
use specifically with the product range. Whilst we've never
experienced a problem, should a product be damaged due to
poor adhesive bonding when you use our adhesives in line
with our installation instructions, we will replace it,
up to 1 year after purchase.
We don't offer this service if other adhesives have been
used.
Adhesives Guide
Below we list each product range and the adhesives you will
need to best install them. Scroll down further to find the
full explanation of what each adhesive is used for, their
coverages (guide figures only) and ordering:
All cornice, railing, architrave, door
surrounds and skirting: Fix Pro (or Fix Hydro) &
Fix Extra - see coverages below.
Ceiling Roses & Domes: Fix Pro only (or Fix
Hydro) - multiply diameter by 2 and use coverage figure
below.
Columns, half columns and pilasters: These have
there own adhesives guide.
To view it
Raised Panels: Fix Pro only (or Fix Hydro) - add
6 times the height of your panels to 6 times the width and
use the coverage figure below.
Door Pediments: Fix Pro only (or Fix Hydro) - add
4 times the height of your pediments to 4 times the width
and use the coverage figure below.
Corbels & Wall Decorations: Fix Pro only (or
Fix Hydro) - one small tube will suffice unless you are
ordering significant quantities.
Niches: For wall mounted niches Fix Pro only. Multiply
the height and width of the niche by 4 and see coverages
below. For recessed niches use Fix Pro using the same calculation
and add one tube of Fix Extra per niche.
Library Systems: Use Fix Pro - see coverages below.
Also use Fix Extra where one piece of material joins another
- one small tube should be ample for an average sized system |
