Description
Kovex No. 1 is a superior, ready-to-use, super-strong adhesive specially designed for installing lightweight decorative mouldings. Based on a patented MS Polymer technology, it offers an incredibly strong, flexible, totally waterproof bond which will withstand temperatures from –40°C to +100°C.
Its a fantastic all rounder, and if in doubt about the application or surface it is so be bonded to, then you can rely on the Kovex No.1 Adhesive.
Kovex No. 1 is ideal for installing lightweight mouldings such as coving, skirting, architraves, ceiling roses, wall panelling, exterior window cills, etc., and provides excellent adhesion to plaster, stone, PVC, timber-based materials, glass, etc., even in challenging environments.
Kovex No. 1 can be overpainted with most water-based paints, but prior testing is highly recommended.
Suitable for interior and exterior use. Can be bonded to newly plastered walls or used in damp environments. Can bond elements that may be subject to vibrations or heavy weathering.
Application:
Surfaces must be clean and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. Apply a consistent bead of adhesive and push firmly into place for proper adhesion. Initial pinning may be required to support the product until the adhesive cures.
Also suitable for joining profiles together. Maintain a gap of 1–2 mm in the joint, as the strength is in the adhesive.
