Description
Cornice Combination 4 combines Premier Cornice 8 with Classic ‘Astragal’ Railing 3 to create a large and more decorative ceiling feature. The large cavity behind Premier Cornice 8 also means it can be used to cover some existing cornices.
Install the cornice as normal, then offset the railing slightly down the wall, across the ceiling, or both. Paint the cornice, railing and the surface between them the same colour so the separate mouldings visually combine into one larger profile. This combination can be used with either one or two railings depending on the size and impact you want to create.
For matching mouldings, try Classic ‘Astragal’ Railing 1, Premier ‘Ogee’ Railing 2 or Premier ‘Ogee’ Railing 6. Classic ‘Ogee’ Skirting 3 works well for the skirting, along with Ceiling Rose 9 or Ceiling Rose 17.
