Dado Rails

Dado rails are fitted around the lower third of a wall, adding a decorative line while protecting busy walls or finishing off wall panelling. Choose from simple contemporary profiles, classic astragal and ogee designs, ornate period styles, and flexible versions for curved walls, bay windows and archways.

Most profiles are made from lightweight, high-grade polymer, supplied pre-primed and ready to paint – easier to handle and fit than traditional plaster mouldings, with none of the knots or grain variation found in timber. Many double as panel mouldings or as a decorative feature at picture-rail height.
