Misleadingly called ‘New’ style this beam looks old, but is just more symmetrical and less ‘gnarled’ than the ‘Old’ Style. Moulded on all 4 sides so can also be used when all sides will be visible.

The staining process is done by hand-finishing and due to this and the undulations in the product, the shade and depth of colour may vary across each beam, and between batches. Whilst all reasonable steps are taken to try and match colour, this cannot be guaranteed.
Designed for use on ceilings and walls to reproduce traditional style typical of cottages of the Jacobean period. By using English Oak originals, the mouldings have the deep grain, knots and twists only found in this replica timber.
The sizes given are nominal only, and must not be considered accurate in view of the many natural blemishes within the oak original which were chosen particularly for these features. Unless otherwise stated, dimensions are quoted in millimetres.
