Description
The Premier ‘Dentil’ Cornice 9 is a large, bold cornice with square dentil detailing. Its deep profile creates a dominant traditional finish and gives the room a Georgian look.
This profile is usually fitted with the dentils running down the wall, but it can also be reversed so that the dentil pattern runs across the ceiling. Each direction gives the cornice a different look.
This cornice is one of our larger profiles and is best suited for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above.
This profile works particularly well in larger Living Rooms, Dining Rooms, Entrance Halls, Kitchens and Bedrooms. It is also a good option for period renovations and traditional interiors, where you want the cornice to become a focal point.
Made from a lightweight high-grade polymer, the cornice comes pre-primed and only requires a coat or two of good-quality branded paint.
This cornice is also suitable for exterior use, but it must be finished with a good-quality exterior-grade paint.

In the Room Set image, Premier Dentil Cornice 9 is used with Wall Texture 5 to create a detailed feature wall.
To continue the dentil style, this cornice works well with the Premier Dentil Railing 7.
For a simpler matching interior, it can also be paired with the Classic Astragal Railing 1, Classic Astragal Railing 3, Premier Ogee Railing 2 or the larger Premier Ogee Railing 6.
It can also be paired with the Classic Ogee Skirting 3, along with Ceiling Rose 9 or Ceiling Rose 17, for a similar style throughout.

Do we supply pre-cut corners?
We don’t supply pre-cut corners on our profiles. Simply use a Classic Mitre Box and Saw to cut the internal and external corners. This gives you a more professional finish, as fewer joins make the cornice easier to install.
What paint shall I use?
The profile is supplied pre-primed and only requires a coat or two of good-quality branded paint. For exterior installations, a suitable exterior-grade paint must be used. For more details about painting our profiles, please see our blog.
Adhesive coverage
Fix Power Adhesive = 1 tube will cover approximately 8m
Fix Ultra Jointing Adhesive = 1 tube will cover approximately 40m of joins.
