Description
Kovex No. 2 is a ready-to-use, powerful adhesive designed for installing lightweight decorative mouldings. Based on a new Hybrid X Grade Polymer, it offers a strong, flexible, waterproof bond which will withstand temperatures from –40°C to +90°C.
Adhesive coverage per tube:
- 1 tube will do 8 linear metres of product.
Kovex No. 2 can be overpainted with most water-based paints, but prior testing is highly recommended.
Kovex No. 2 is ideal for installing lightweight mouldings such as coving, skirting, architraves, ceiling roses, wall panelling, etc., and provides good adhesion to plaster, stone, PVC, timber-based materials, glass, etc.
Suitable for interior and exterior use. Can bond elements that may be subject to vibrations or heavy weathering.
Application:
Surfaces must be clean and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. Apply a consistent bead of adhesive and push firmly into place for proper adhesion. Initial pinning may be required to support the product until the adhesive cures.
Also suitable for joining profiles together. Maintain a gap of 1–2 mm in the joint, as the strength is in the adhesive.
