The Stair MDF Tongue & Groove Wall Panelling Kit is a the perfect stair wall panelling Kit. Which is very practical and easy way to protect your walls whilst renovating your home at the same time. Commonly used in Bathrooms, Hallways, Dinning Rooms where practicality meets style. This kit is super simple to install because the Wall Panels are pre-cut to the correct length.
This product is designed to be used with the Dado MDF Togue & Groove Wall Panelling Kit. The only difference between this and the Dado Height Wall Panelling kit is that this is taller which means it can be used for going up the stairs. It would still need to be cut to the correct angle of the stairs in order to work. This kit doesn`t have to be used going up the stairs and can be used as Half height panelling too. The Overall Height of this Panelling Kit is 136.7cm.
It is made from Moisture Resistant MDF which means that it is suitable for bathrooms and toilets. This product is also used in Hallways, Dinning Rooms.
The Skirting and Dado rail has a 6mm rebate which means that there is a slot for the T&G panel to slot into meaning that there are no gaps to worry about. The Style of the Skirting and Dado rail is Torus.
The Tongue and Groove Panels are supplied in 60cm widths to make them easier to handle. They simply slot into each other thanks to the tongue and groove design which makes installation even faster.
For Installation, use adhesives for the most seamless finish, you can use a pin gun and screws for installation if you wish – there would be more filling and finishing required if using mechanical fixings.
A universal design which works well with nearly all interior styles, this can be painted in any colour and paint type whether it be Matt, Satin or Gloss. We would recommend a Good Quality paint for installation. If using Farrow and Ball paint – whilst it will work fine on the product, it tends to be a softer paint so a lacquer may be required for protection, especially as this Panelling kit is used mostly in high traffic areas. To achieve the smoothest finish, a light sand is required to remove any rough texture on the product.

MDF Torus Skirting: Height x 11.3cm,Projection x 1.8cm,Length x 244cm.
MDF T&G Panel: Height x 121.5cm, Width x 60cm, Projection x 0.6cm.
MDF Torus Dado Rail: Width x 5.5cm, Projection x 1.8cm, Length x 244cm.
To cut the material, this can be done with a Chop/mitre saw or a Panel saw with a Mitre Box.

Kovex No.1 or No.2 Adhesive = 1 tube per 2.44m panel
